During the 8th Biennial International Conference on the Linguistics of Contemporary English (8 BICLCE) held at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, Germany (26-28 September), I was awarded the prize to the Best Paper presented at the conference by a junior researcher. The paper, entitled Negation and the Cognitive Complexity Principle in the English Clausal Complementation System is part of my PhD project, supervised by Elena Seoane and Manfred Krug.
